Poland Day Six

Today was our second last day in Poland. We began the day with a drive to Lublin, where just 3KM away is the Majdanek Concentration Camp. The camp is quite preserved, with remnants of Hitler's killing operation as well as memorials to the countless lives lost. One of our Madricha, Pam Libfeld shared the story of her grandfather's survival in the Holocaust and how it shaped her family forever. We closed the day by discussing the vivid horrors that children suffered and the true presence of evil.
