BIQ Third Shabbat
I cannot believe we are now headed into our final week of Biluim Israel in Quebec!
This past week has been jam-packed, trying to squeeze 6 weeks of summer camp into three has been a whirlwind. Our chanichim were introduced to Greek God Maccabiah, and the four teams battled it out in our one-day games, and our winner is… RED TEAM! As we closed out Mac, four of our amazing participants led 16 contestants in the first-ever BIQ Survivor. The participants did physical and mental challenges testing their skills as a team and as individuals. We congratulate our amazing winner… Shirel Goldberg!
Heading into Tisha Ba’av, we are taking a social media break to reflect on the week we have ahead of us. Our chanichim have only 7 more days to join that special program, create a fun Va’ad with their friends, and have an insightful conversation with the person across the chadar. It is a constant thought in all of our minds that this is their last week to be campers, and in the words of our Va’ad Shabbat “make the most of this last week”.
Gaston and I cannot wait to see what will come out of the next few days, and stay tuned for the full week album that will be posted on Monday after Tisha Ba’av.
