Israel Day Three
Another long day for our Billy Israel mishpacha started with a 7 AM wake up this morning and a great breakfast in the Kibbutz.
At 8 AM, we departed for our hike of Nachal El Al. On the hike, we visited two freshwater pools and were able to swim and enjoy the extremely hot weather. Though the hike was strenuous, it was very fun and rewarding, and we luckily made it through without any dehydration.
After a quick pizur lunch with some delicious shawarma, we headed towards the Golan Heights. Up on the mountain, we learned about the great Israeli spy Eli Cohen. We were also able to look around the base and see all the way into Syria!
After a well needed rest, we all enjoyed a delicious dinner in the Kibbutz before heading for our bonfire. At the bonfire, we all ate s’mores and sang songs until it was time to go to bed.
Tomorrow, we get to sleep in until 8:30, and we’re also all very excited to head to a water park!
