Israel Day Ten

Hey parents!!

Today, both busses started off the day by learning and discussing Jewish diversity and pluralistic beliefs while touring Kibbutz Hanaton. This Kibbutz showed us the dynamic between different types of Jewish practices that all live together and create a trusting community. We also learned about the processes in which they house families, make communal decisions and raise children in their local daycare program.

After this tour, we were brought to a Druze community near Haifa for lunch. There we learned about the Druze, their traditions, values, and beliefs.

After lunch, we went to end our day with a quick view of the Bahai Gardens, Haifa street art, and ended our day visiting our tour guide’s house for some drinks and snacks!
