Israel Day Twenty-Six

Today we began our long drive south. We departed Tel Aviv early in the morning and headed towards Be’er Sheba. We stopped at Sha’ar Lanegev, an innovative centre where we learned about the development and history of the Negev. We got to interact and help plan the Negev and understand why Israel wishes to develop the area. After that we continued our way south and stopped in Mitzpe Ramon, a crater in the desert that has been developing for millions of years. We learned about the geology and saw the beauty. Afterwords we finally arrived in Eilat for an early to bed in order to prepare for our sunrise hike.
