Poland Day Three

Today our chanichim had their first experience at the largest extermination camp in Poland, Auschwitz-Birkenau. It was a moving and emotional day to say the least. With maturity and dignity, our campers became educated and grew, and they walked away with more knowledge of the plight of the European Jews who found themselves there. As we do every day in Poland, we finished our tour with a processing session to gather our thoughts and learn from each other’s experiences. We look forward to a very special day tomorrow in Łódź.
